I know we get in big trouble for falsifying documents but why is it ok when management tells us to. I had a driver call me tonight and tell me he was instructed to work over 12 hours and sheet any possible missed packages emergency road conditions. I told him he can't drive over 12 hours and to take pictures of the diad messages telling him to do so. The glare on diad prevented him from getting a good picture. It really bothers me to see one guy getting fired for signing for packages when I myself have even been told to driver release next day air business packages and have the manager telling me to do so deliver them late even though they were on time in my diad. Does anyone have any good proof showing managers instructing you to falsify documents?? I'm trying to get information to our BA to help save a drivers job.

The drivers should have a print out daily of the hours worked, the volume for that driver day, and missed packages. The driver should be at least capable of proving the excessive hours worked. The pieces per hour should indicate the amount of packages delivered thus showing packages missed but as to the missed packages emergency road conditions it is going to be the driver's word against the manager's word unless the driver gets a print out from a part time superisor with the message sent to the diad.

Sounds like it's time to call The Honesty Hotline. It works.
